Session begins with a live press conference followed by “Speed Dating” with television and newspaper assignment editors, producers and news directors. Organizations will have the opportunity to give an elevator speech to members of the press regarding the nonprofit organization presented. This is an opportunity to get members of the press aware and interested in your organization. Mention of upcoming events is prohibited. Attendees are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch.

Thanks to all the agencies that participated in last year's Unified Nonprofit Food Drive we collected 5,413 pounds of food donations and just over one hundred dollars in cash donations for the Kansas Food Bank! The 2010 Unified Nonprofit Food Drive will begin collecting on November 1 and continue collecting through the month of November only.
Sign your organization up to participate! When you do, you will receive signs, simple instructions, and a list of creative ideas sure to inspire your organization to collect even MORE food for hungry Kansans this year!
